Department of Military Science
Welcome to the Department of Military Science at the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ (ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ). Our department is dedicated to developing future leaders through rigorous academic programs, comprehensive training, and a commitment to excellence. We offer a dynamic curriculum that combines classroom instruction with hands-on experience, preparing our students for successful careers in the military and beyond.
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Army ROTC
The ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Army ROTC is on track to be amongst the top-performing ROTC programs in the nation. The program first opened in the 1970s and was re-established in 2009. Over 160 officers have been commissioned since 2009.
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’s ROTC program currently has 72 Cadets enrolled from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ, Jacksonville University and Florida State College at Jacksonville and five full-time military science faculty positions.
