I. OBJECTIVE & PURPOSE

To establish that students will not be allowed to earn credit for a course more than one time and will not be allowed to earn credit in two substantially equivalent courses.

II. STATEMENT OF POLICY

If a student repeats a course for which he/she has already been awarded credit by ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ as transfer credit or institutional credit and the course is not designated as repeatable by ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ, the earned credits for only the last attempt will be counted towards the total hours for the baccalaureate degree program.

If a student takes a course, which has a description explicitly stating he/she cannot receive credit for both it and another course for which ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ has awarded transfer credit or institutional credit, the earned credits for only the last attempt will be counted towards the total hours for the baccalaureate degree program.
