Koger Matteson Jazz Festival

The Koger/Matteson Jazz Festival is respected for being a highly educational experience for its participants and the festival presents an opportunity for ensembles to receive valuable feedback in preparation for upcoming Music Performance Assessments.

Ƶ Pre-MPA Workshop

The Ƶ School of Music faculty will host a day for local high school and middle school bands to perform their MPA music in Lazzara Performance Hall, clinics, and a special Ƶ Wind Symphony performance.

Summer Music Camp

Summer music camp for rising 8th graders thru college entrants with instruction by Ƶ Music Faculty. Offering classes in Music Technology, Conducting, Chamber Music, Jazz Combos, Music Theory, Jazz and Symphonic Band, Jazz Improv, Masterclasses and Nightly Concerts.

Summer Choral Arts Week

Join us in our intimate and safe creative space to increase your artistry creating music together with like-minded music-makers. Space is limited to 30 student vocal artists (ages 16 and up), 10 conducting fellows, and an infinite number of community vocal artists!

Conducting Symposium

Designed for current music educators of all levels and college students alike, symposium features will include conducting/coaching practicum sessions, as well as master classes on score preparation, creating an effective rehearsal environment and wind/percussion pedagogy.

Sound Before Symbols Workshop
