Global Management & Marketing Perspectives in Barcelona

Designed specifically for business students, this faculty-led study abroad in Barcelona, one of the most dynamic economic and cultural hubs in the European Union, offers a unique opportunity to explore how business operates in an international context. During the program, you will visit innovative companies and institutions, including Casa SEAT, a hub for mobility and innovation, and FabLab Barcelona, a global leader in digital fabrication and entrepreneurship. You’ll also engage directly with faculty and students at Blanquerna – Universitat Ramon Llull, gaining valuable insights into Spain’s economic environment, business practices, and current social issues.

Beyond the classroom, you’ll experience the energy and history of Barcelona firsthand. Highlights include a guided city tour of Barcelona, visits to iconic landmarks like the Sagrada Familia, and exploration of Las Ramblas and the Mercat de la Boqueria, where culture and commerce meet. You’ll also see how global brands operate with a visit to Camp Nou (FC Barcelona) and learn from companies such as PhFormula.

This program will help you develop a global perspective on business and economics, strengthen your critical thinking and analytical skills, build confidence in presenting ideas and writing professional reports, and understand the cultural and historical context that shapes international markets. Whether you’re interested in marketing, finance, management, or entrepreneurship, this experience will give you a competitive edge in today’s global business environment.
