The Institute of Environmental Research and Education (IERE) is an interdisciplinary hub that unites students and faculty from all six ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ colleges in a shared mission to advance environmental knowledge through interdisciplinary research, education, and community engagement. This mission is achieved by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, providing real-world experiences, and offering innovative academic programs that enrich student learning and advance environmental research. IERE serves as a vital link between the classroom and the community—empowering students to turn knowledge into action and helping researchers connect their work to the public. ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Nature & Health Symposium
Join the Institute of Environmental Research and Education (IERE), for this one-day symposium exploring the powerful connection between nature, human health, and wellbeing. This engaging event brings together experts, community leaders, and local partners to share insights, research, and collaborative solutions that advance nature-based approaches to health. Building on the momentum of last year’s event, which launched the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Nature and Health Center, the symposium will continue to strengthen ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’s role as Florida’s chapter of the Nature and Health Alliance, serving as a hub for innovation, partnership, and community impact in nature and health.
